We have multiple cities and towns that make up our area served and it is our desire to always be a marketing arm and advocacy agency for each location. There is so much to offer in our area with our low cost of living, beautiful and abundant outdoor recreation, multiple technical colleges and the well known Pickens County Career & Technology Center as well as our numerous universities and hospitals.

Pickens Savings and Loan On October 1, 2025, the Greater Pickens Chamber proudly recognized Pickens Savings and Loan as the October Business of the Month. A dedicated and valued Chamber member, this outstanding business has made meaningful contributions to the community and beyond.
Pickens Savings and Loan has been trusted in the community since 1920. They are 105 years old, and the only bank headquartered in Pickens County. The main office is in Pickens at 205 E. Cedar Rock Street and a 2nd location was opened in downtown Six Mile back in 2019. Join us in congratulating Pickens Savings and Loan on this well-deserved honor! On November 1st, The Path Farms celebrated its official ribbon-cutting ceremony. The Path Farms is a wonderful example of a family-owned business that reflects the spirit of our community. We encourage everyone to visit and support the people who make our community so special.
The Path Farm is covered with fertile land and a great growing climate, producing a wonderful variety of herbal teas, tonics, and hydrosols. These products are available at The Path Farms Store, open Monday–Friday, 1–5 p.m., and Saturday, 11 a.m.–3 p.m. (calling ahead on Saturdays is appreciated). The store features handmade products and farm crafts that change with the seasons. It is also the home of The Path Farms Skincare, their all-natural line of body care products. Visitors can enjoy a variety of experiences, including Tea with Friends, the Nature Trail, Garden Tours, Workshops and Classes. Save them for your next favorite local spot!
